Brie turned one month old 2 weeks ago. I know, I'm so behind but better late than never. We have really loved having our baby girl home and healthy and having normal newborn tendencies to tend to. She definetly is a different baby from Arizona. AZ was really chill and could sit or lay in the same spot for hours. I remember watching hours of Gilmore girls and Everwood and organizing every closet in the apartment. I was organized and on top of household chores pretty quickly. Brie is more needy and loves to be held. Thankfully, she likes her swing and can sleep in it for hours, but she loves getting the attention. It's a lot harder to take care of two kiddos but AZ is a wonderful big sister. She adores Brie.
A few days ago there was a really sweet moment between them both. Brie woke and I brought her out to the living room where AZ was watching her morning show. Brie gave the biggest smile when she saw Arizona. At least once a day AZ will ask to carry Brie. Her voice also gets really high when talking to Brie. She usually says, "Mom! She's soooo cute! The baby is so cute!" And of course doesn't forget to remind me- "Mommy, she came out of your belly."

At her three week appointment she weighed in at 9 lbs 7 ounces.

We had Brie's baby blessing on August 31st. Daniel's parents, sister, nephews, and my parents were able to come. It was a beautiful blessing and Brie cooperated so well. She only let out a small cry toward the end of the blessing but overall was really great. She wore the same blessing dress Arizona used and looked beautiful. I just love my two girls.
We were bummed when it turned out we couldn't come down! We'll have to make a visit during one of Kate's school breaks sometime!
